Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a consult/tattoo appointment?
Please contact the Artist you would like to book with directly. Our artists prefer Instagram to chat, but also have emails for booking. Check out their links in the ARTISTS section!
When contacting an artist about a tattoo please include:
- Design and style (you can send attachments/pictures of examples you like).
- Placement on the body (and picture of area if there are other tattoos to work around or cover up).
- Approximate size in inches.
What is the minimum and hourly rate?
All our artists charge different minimum and hourly rates! Please message them directly to get a quote.
Are deposits required to book?
Yes, all tattoo appointments will need a deposit to book. Your artist will tell you when they are ready for you to send the deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and go towards the price of the tattoo once completed.
This fee protects our artists in case the client does not show up. Please remember that artists do not get paid if their client does not show up to their appointment. The time we take to draw, consult and edit our drawings are not paid- tattoo artists only get paid for the time that they are tattooing!
What happens if I can not make it to the appointment?
In order to keep your deposit you must provide us with 48hr notice. You can then rebook your appointment once. If you can not make it to the second appointment your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to provide another deposit.
If you are unable to provide us with 48hr notice of cancelation/ rebooking your deposit will be forfeited.
Do you offer touch ups?
Yes, the first touchup is free if booked within one year of getting it. If you do not follow the aftercare instructions and it is clear that that tattoo was tamped with during the healing process, your free touch up may be forfeited.
Finger and foot tattoos do not include a free touch up due to their nature of fading.
How do I take care of my tattoo?
Your artist will provide you with an aftercare sheet at your appointment.
You can also check out our AFTERCARE section for a digital version of instructions.
My tattoo is peeling, is this normal?
Yes! It is normal for your tattoo to be dry, itchy and start peeling. Do not pick, scratch or scrub your new tattoo. Slight scabbing and bruising is also normal for sensitive and highly saturated areas.
